Overview
This pilot is led by the High Resolves Group https://www.highresolves.org/about, an Australian non-profit organisation established in 2005. High Resolves Group is the parent organisation of The Learning Network. With support from the Paul Ramsay Foundation https://www.paulramsayfoundation.org.au, this pilot explores how using AI can enhance learning outcomes for all students across Australia by providing them with access to AI tutors.
Purpose: To discover how using AI can enhance learning outcomes for all students across Australia by providing them with access to AI tutors.
Pilot Stages
1. All Students are Required to Have Guardian Consent
Term 3: All Consent Forms received by 14 October
Guardians must give consent for their child to participate in the pilot the week before students complete the pre-survey. To do so, guardians should first read the Trial Participant Information sheet and then complete the Guardian Consent form. Once consent is submitted, the next steps of trial participation will be activated, including setting up their child's access to the AI Tutor platform.
2. Guardian and Student Ai Tutor Onboarding Sessions
Term 3: Completed by 18 October
We're providing guardians and their child the option of joining a live video onboarding session via Zoom. Additional how-to guides are available for any guardians unable to make the sessions or for those who'd like to get started earlier
Tuesday 15 October, 5:00pm (AEST)
5. Students Post-Survey
Term 4: Submitted by 29 November
Students and guardians will complete the post-survey (approx. 5-10 minutes).
Survey links will be provided in the week they are to be submitted.
